No, and here is why.

Bear market periods are shorter than bull markets, but normally more devastating than a bull market’s increases over the same period.

Currently, at the time of writing this, it feels like the market is nearing the peak. However, I don’t think that we have will reach that peak until 2025 or 2026.

The risk for a bull market at its peak is extremely high, so making careful investing choices is something that you will have to do. ETFs  are a safer bet than random individual stocks (at the peak).

Moreover, watching companies’ EPS and making sure they are not overvalued is something that most novice investors do not pay attention to. A lower EPS on a high priced stock can indicate overvaluation.
